Forehead Lift/Brow Lift
Before the procedure, Dr. Fox will tie back your hair from the area where your incision will be made. Dr. Fox will choose the least visible area to make the incision, such as along your hairline, within the scalp, or along the natural bone structure lines on the scalp.
For a conventional forehead lift, one long incision is made. The incision begins at one ear, cross the forehead region, and ends at the other ear. Dr. Fox lifts the forehead skin, removes excess tissue, repositions and or removes muscles, and lifts the eyebrows. If there is any extra skin in any of these areas Dr. Fox will trim the excess. The incision is stitched or clipped and gauze is applied. A bandage is often wrapped around your head following the procedure. Dr. Fox will remove your bandages within two to three days of surgery. A follow up appointment will be scheduled for approximately two weeks after your procedure for removal of your stitches and clips.
